BGR Energy Systems stock soars 7% after order win

Shares of BGR Energy Systems soared 7% after the company bagged two orders worth Rs573.3cr and the orders were from Jharkhand Urja Sancharan Nigam Ltd. Nuclear Power Corporation, according to an exchange notification.

“Order from Jharkhand Urja Sancharan Nigam Limited (JUSNL), Ranchi for supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 3 Nos. 132/33 kV GIS Substations at Sundarnagar, Sarath and Chattarpur on Turnkey basis. The total value of the contract is Rs124.13cr (exclusive of GST).  The contract completion period is 24-months. Orders from Nuclear Power Corporation Limited for Supply, Testing & Delivery of Control & instrumentation package of various systems, Erection & Commissioning for Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant 3 & 4 Project. The total value of the orders is Rs449.19cr (inclusive of GST). The contract completion period is 50 months,” the company added.

The stock is currently trading at Rs38.50 up by Rs2.55 or 7.09% from its previous closing of Rs35.95 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs36.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs39.70 and Rs36.60 respectively.
